Because of my experience as both a prosecutor and defense attorney, I have been on both sides of the law. I can offer you my vast knowledge of over 33 years of legal experience. My goal as your attorney is to provide you with the best possible service and information as you navigate your way through the legal process. I have extensive experience in the following types of cases: drug offenses, sexual assaults, DCFS (Department of Children and Family Services) hearings, post convictions for felony cases, and juvenile cases. Many times your cases can be referred to special courts and programs that will defer felony convictions or even cause them to be dismissed. These include drug court, MICAP (Mental Illness Court Alternative Program), second chance programs, TASC (Treatment Alternatives for Safe Communities), and special circumstances probation. Once your case is concluded, you may be eligible immediately or in the near future to have your criminal record sealed or expunged.

For over twenty years, I have helped hundreds of clients deal with their various legal problems, ranging from the minor traffic ticket to the most serious felony cases, up to and including murder. The longer I practice, the more I realize how much a lawyer can affect a client's case and their own personal world by giving them the best legal services available and being there for them in their time of crisis and need.
My Process
Initial Consultation
I will sit down with you and discuss your case and help you navigate your questions and concerns. Legal matters can be very stressful and concerning and I can help walk you through this process. My office is conveniently located in DuPage County and I have a large conference room to meet in if family members and or loved ones will be present.
Careful Review
If you hire me as your attorney, the first thing I will do is carefully review your legal case after submitting legal paperwork to acquire all police reports and evidence in your case. I can assist you in making sure we come up with the best possible path and solution to successfully handle your case.
Court
The court process can be difficult to navigate by yourself. I will meet with you at your court date and conference with the State's Attorney to discuss your case. I can file all the necessary legal paperwork and come up with the best possible resolution. If you case warrants going to trial, I have years of successful litigation experience and knowledge.
